SERVICE ADVISOR

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manchester, NH based Arcadia Financial seeks a motivated individual to assist in the daily operations of its financial advisory business. The role will require jumping into a diverse and flexible support position in which job responsibilities primarily include facilitating daily operations and client service.

The position is ideal for candidates with or looking for experience in the investment, financial and/or insurance industry.

HOURS: 8:30am – 5pm with a 30-minute lunch break

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Case, meeting and deliverables preparation
  2. New account creation and tracking
  3. Transaction processing, handling inquires and other customer service
  4. Client interaction including greeting, meeting facilitation, annual reviews, phone calls and written/email correspondence
  5. Keep detailed and organized client records and files
  6. Provide quotes, reports and confirmations to advisory team and/or clients on-demand
  7. Support for business marketing activities
  8. Support for compliance activities and archiving

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a great personality and be willing to interact with clients and the public. Must also be willing to jump into a loose operational structure with confidence in working independently with minimal guidance. Day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the office, the advisory team and marketing schedule.

  • Undergraduate Degree is required
  • Three or more years in financial industry is preferred
  • Insurance and/or securities licensure preferred
  • Basic knowledge of financial industry, regulation and products preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and general clerical procedures
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and solve problems
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass any other pre-employment tests
  • Willingness to learn and advance career in financial industry
