GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Client Service Specialist processes new business and services existing clientele. As an important part of the Service Team, the Client Service Specialist (CSS) will report directly to the COO and follow established policies and procedures. The CSS will follow processes in order to keep client workflow organized, compliant and timely. The CSS will have professional and respectful communication with clients, Co-Advisor, Clearing Firms, Insurance Companies, and other 3rd parties that will aid in the business capturing process while nurturing the client’s relationship with AFG. The Client Service Specialist will be energetic, organized and a team player.
JOB DUTIES:
DAILY-
- Respond to all client inquiries same day
- Prepare all applications, forms, authorizations prior to scheduled meeting
- Be available to enter client meetings including meetings that may be scheduled after the usual workday and adapt to quick and unplanned alterations
- Execute instructions from the advisor based on decisions made with client and be consultative with client’s questions and concerns; including signing, initialing, dating physical paperwork or using electronic systems, gathering required paperwork and any additional as needed
- Understand required resources: CRM, Firelight, TDA VEO, Fidelity Wealthscape and various insurance company websites
- Ensure notes are added to the meeting agenda by 3pm of the day prior to the scheduled meeting
- Complete tasks with timeline set and meet deadlines
- Track and maintain records on the progress of all submitted business
WEEKLY-
- Attend weekly staff, service and planning meetings
- Report weekly activities on outstanding business
- Ensure pending business is efficiently being processed
MONTHLY-
- Review monthly reports
QUARTERLY-
- Review goals
AS FREQUENTLY AS NEEDED-
- Verify all licensing, training, and registration is in place for advisor
- Provide on boarding instruction to admin staff
- Proactively correspond with clients regarding outstanding business

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- One or more years’ experience in financial industry
- Microsoft Office and general clerical procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize and solve problems

Salary: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
